What do I do Next

Counselling and Psychotherapy provide a unique opportunity to develop your own understanding and solutions to issues that are important to you in a safe environment with a therapist who you are able to trust, secure in the  knowledge that all discussions are completely confidential. The first step to  take is to read the contents of this website. If you have any questions write  them down so that you can ask when we speak. You should then:

1. Telephone me (Derek) on 07956 569149 or email me on [email protected] to arrange the first meeting  called the "assessment". Taking that first step can be very  difficult, so if you prefer, email me with your contact telephone number and  give times that you would like me not to call. I always endeavour to  call back within 24 hours.

2. If you telephone and there is a recorded message please leave your name and contact telephone number remembering to tell me of any times that it would not be convenient to call you back. I will endeavour to call back within 24 hours of your message.

3. Make  sure that you have a few dates and times that you know will be free to hold  the first meeting. Meetings are held either at a building between Paddington  Station and Warwick Avenue or in the City of London close to both Farringdon  Street and
Chancery Lanes tube stations.
